Hello,

I have installed "GMail Drive" is a Shell Namespace Extension that creates a virtual drive in the Windows Explorer, allowing you to use your Google Mail account as a storage medium.

Iam writing now to ask you about this problem which is available down. where I have installed an Gmail programme that creates a free 7-GB hard Disk on your computer that enable you to upload your files on the clouds.
My problem is whenever I have tried to open the hard disk that has been created I have experienced this message"an error occurred:login failed system error message your IE browser's cookies functionality is turned off .please turn it on"

To keep it simple

Just think of

USER--> gmail drive-->gmail account

Virtual file system is a layer which acts as a connection between you and your account

FILESYSTEM

To work with your harddisk you need help of filesystems like ntfs,fat32 etc which makes you in organizing datas across harddisk

Now consider ntfs as your gmail drive,harddisk as your gmail account.

You need a filesystem like ntfs to organize your harddisk.Similarly Gmail drive acts as a filesystem to organize datas on your gmail account.

So thats the difference,copy and paste just like your files on your harddisk rather than attaching and sending.

If you think that this is not a great difference then i dont think this software would suite you.

Thank you so much indeed, I don't say that programme is not benefit but I said that I saw here http://www.viksoe.dk/code/gmail.htm
GMail Drive creates a virtual filesystem on top of your Google Gmail account and enables you to save and retrieve files stored on your Gmail account directly from inside Windows Explorer. GMail Drive literally adds a new drive to your computer under the My Computer folder, where you can create new folders, copy and drag'n'drop files to.

Where is the virtual filesystem on top of your Google Gmail account , and How can I retrieve files stored on your Gmail account directly from inside Windows Explorer?

Please understand me

Finally : you didn't answer me on this question please have a look at this picture
