Does anyone know if it is possible to program an excel date so that it will 'change colour' when the current/system date is within one (1) month of the date.

Yes, I did , let me try and remember how .
Using conditional formatting and a formla which becomes true when the current date + 30 becomes larger
than the date you have set.
