Need for speed - videos download too slowly

Hello,
Wondering if anyone has a some tips and/or tricks for downloading videos (e.g from YouTube).
Currently using Windows 7, Internet Explorer 8 and the latest edition of Adobe Flash Player.
Videos eventually play - but sooooooo slow.
Any help/feedback is greatly appreciated.

I suggest you do a speed test on your internet connection. In general you get what you pay for when it comes to download speed. If the test shows far lower speed than what the ISP says it provides then you can complain to the ISP.
