Installing Xp and Win7 on same machine

Hello,

I am trying to install XP Pro 64 on a seperate partition in my Win7 machine. I put the Xp CD in and it goes through to where you have to restart the computer, and sends me back to the "press any key to boot from the CD" screen

I need both OS's so I can play with my Sidewinder FF1 Pro, (installed a StarTech sound card to get the MIDI/Game port.)


Any advice would be appreciated

I suggest you remove the CD and/or don't press any key. It should then boot from the hard disk. Here is a shortcut to full instructions for a Vista Dual Boot. It should be the same for Win 7:
