Facebook phone verification

Hello,

Yesterday morning upon trying to connect to my facebook account, i was asked to verify my account by submitting my cell phone number (which was already connected to my account) in order to receive a code to allow me access! I received no code and ever since i cannot log in my account nor request a new code via e-mail (tried several times and no messages are received). What might the problem be and is there a way of solving it?

Please follow the steps below to resolve this issue:

* Check your email application's spam or junk folder or filter. Please be aware that some emails may be blocked by your ISP (Internet Service Provider).
*
Check that you're trying to log in from the exact email address you registered with. A common error is registering with an incorrect email domain (e.g., @comcast.com is not the same as @comcast.net).
keep in mind that email addresses never begin with a "www" prefix.
