blank screen with vista theme in xpClosed

Hello, 
I recently updated my windows xp theme to vista.Just the theme alone.But the file got corrupted and 
at the nxt startup,oly a blank screen appears.No icons,task bar,nothing except the wallpaper.Safe mode doesnt work.A dialog box appears saying that Windows explorer is corrupt and needs to close and requests to send an error report.Task manager too doesnt work. 

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 8.0.1
