Hello,
Can anyone please tell how Operating System finds a suitable driver?
EX: When a device is plugged to the computer, the system automatically installs the Driver.
How will the System know which driver to install? Where will the driver be present?
How can i find a driver, so that i can copy it from one system to other.
Please Answer the Questions. I'll be thankful for all answers.

Hello,

Try this 1

If you have successfully installed the driver in another PC then

1) Click on Start --> Run --> Type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.

"Device Manager" will be opened.

2) If you want the Lan drivers details then click on the "+" or double-click on

"Network adapter" to expand it.

3) Double-click on your network adapter --> Click on "Driver" tab --> Click on the

"Driver Details". There you can find the drivers location.

Good Luck
