Can't Open .psd files in PS CS2 9.0

Just stopped working! I was working in PS CS2 9.0 all morn long. Tried to open a .psd file now. Will not open, I get a message "Could Not Complet Your Request Because Of A Program Error". HELP!!!! BUT, I can open .tif and .gif files.

I have the same problem WITH ALL THE FILES, I cant open any file and a get the same message just as you : \ (but on xp)
I had exactly the same problem , remove any newly installed printers or printer drivers , remove all of your printers all together if oyu have too.
