I Have the HP Pavilion dv 1000 and all of the sudden while i was on it , the screen went completely black ! No curser no anything!!! I know its on because the lights are on, on it. but the stupid screen is black -___- Im 13 and a computer is a big deal to me !! Plus it has no battery so i cant take the battery out then out it back in. ANY SUGGESTIONS ?????????
I'm rXXXX when it comes to computers.
Probably your "backlight" or "inverter" has failed. Both are only fixable by a qualified PC repair shop.
Next time don't use the "R" word or you get automatically deleted. Just like using the "F" word. I only restored your posting because your 13 and don't know better.
