VPN performance issues

Hello,
I have RoadRunner modem and old NetGear router. My PC will connect to internet wirelessly but not thru wire. I connected work PC with wire and use VPN to connect to work network. In last two months Working thru VPN has become excruciating slow. I just got new work machine and was able to connect it wirelessly but VPN speed is just as bad. Others on VPN are not having performance issue. ISP provider checked speed and all is good. I tried to install new Cisco router but it failed -- error was that it could not find Internet. Not sure where to start. Would like to get the VPN connection back to normal. Thanks!!

That new router came with support from Cisco. I suggest you call them and have them walk you through the process of connecting the router.
