Software can not set password

Hello,

Software from my drive was deleted by mistake . i copied it from other drive but does not work . I have 500 GB WD essential External HD . what to do now to get the software functional and set password by using it. I aim to set password on my drive. Plz simple and full answer required urgently. please.
