Power indicator turned orange

Hello,

I have just bought a netbook. then charged it overnight. In the morning used it for 2 hours using the battery charge. then I decided to run it connecting the power plug. As i connect it the power indicator turns white to red/orange. somebody say me that it is a battery proplem but it is a new netbook and the netbook shows that it has 98% charge.
Please give me feedback.

Indicator lights and colors are specific to manufacturers and models. I would be nice to know the make and model of your net book.

Also, what is the problem?

thanks for the suggestion. I got the answer.As you suggest my netbook is made by HP and for hp netbook charging indicator shows red colour until it is fully charged. when it is fully charged then the colour turn white.
