HD missing

Hello, to day i also face the common problem.... i insert the xp cd to d dvd rom.. but after sometime, when the windows starts have to copy, it says no HD found..... i check the sata cable. pow cable. ram... etc but not work.. so plz help what should i do ?

You are installing windows?what is actual or previous version of windows ?
