unable to watch videos on whatever site Closed

Question

Hello,  

     I am unable to watch videos on whatever site. The vid will buffer all the way but will stop playing after about 11 seconds. If i click on the little cursor where it stopped playing it will play again for about 11 seconds. I could do this throughout the entire vid but i believe i have to change some explorer setting. Im clueless please help. 

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

Hello, 

Try this 1. 

Try installing the latest adobe flash player. Click on the below link. 

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ 

In Step 1, select your operating system from the drop-down menu 

In Step 2. select your browser from the drop-down menu 

Uncheck the check box regarding installation of McAfee Security Scan 

Click on the "Download now" button
