My brothers hp laptops sound is messed up... Closed

Hello, 

So, my brother has an HP. Not sure which one, but the sound is wierd on it. It works perfectly for games and music. The issue is, when we go to video chat with someone, we have to plug head phones in to hear them at all. He's uninstalled and reinstalled the driver for the sound a few times, but it hasn't helped.

Any idea why?

Configuration: Mac OS X / Safari 533.16
