Trouble with Chicony 2.0 webcam and Skype

Hello,

Driver installer scan shows my Chicony 2.0 webcam driver is up to date. Skype tells me that it can't connect to my webcam. My control panel says the device is working properly. I'm frustrated and confused and would like to use Skype. Can anyone help?
