Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could help me in creating a .bat file for excel....I am needing to open an excel file at a certain time of the day (which I thought I would use the task sheduler)...then after a certain about of time the file will need to save what has been entered with a new file name (current date and time) in a folder, print and close....
I have gotten the file to open with task scheduler, but can not come up with the needed .bat file to save, print and close.....
any help would be greatly appreciated.
thx

Hello,
I don't know anything about bat file but an other solution is to use an other excel file containing a macro which will do what you want when it will open. And after, you just have to use this excel file to open with task scheduler.

for save print etc, you can write a macro to do that. so on file open that macro can trigger, to print etc and then close
