Netgear Adapter won't connect anymore

Hello,

I have had a Netgear Wireless-N 150 USB adapter for about 2 years, and yesterday my computer stopped connecting to the Internet. My iPad and phone can connect to the wireless, and the computer says that there is an excellent signal, but it won't connect. I've tried some simple troubleshooting and can't find any problems. Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be, or should I just give up and buy a new adapter? Keep in mind I don't know a whole lot about computers!
