Hello,
I have a HP G60t that comes up a black screen and works fine on my monitor/TV/. Once in a while the screen will light up but only on the right side. Please help

This sounds like a hardware problem needing a replacement display panel. It's not recommended as a DIY project. I suggest you evaluate the repair cost versus the cost to buy a new laptop.
