Samsung Galaxy Y does not connect to uni Wifi Closed

Hello, 

I have a problem. I am using Samsung Galaxy Y and it used to connect to all wifi networks I had passwords to. There is a protected 'eduroam' internet at our university. I followed the required steps to connect shown in students handbook, but no result - phone shows authorising and then - Disconnected. Internet works on my laptop, so the username and the password are right.

Any ideas?

Is there, by any chance, in your great temple of knowledge, a qualified, awaken technician who can bring you assistance?

I am quite certain that the issue arises that passwords have not been activated or they have been ill configured by a human error prone dreamer.
