Try this version of Skype:

This version is compatible with:

1. Windows 2000
2. Windows XP
3. Windows Vista
4. Windows 7

For Windows 2000 you will require DirectX 9.0 for video calls. This is available for download from:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35
