How to charge my Sony Ericsson phone with USB

Hello,

How can i charge my Sony Ericsson phone using USB connected to the computer but with phone functions still on? Please help me, this is a bit troublesome for me. Thanks.

The charging current from the USB port is not sufficient to both power the phone and charge it at the same time. Perhaps a "powered" USB hub with a higher amperage power supply could do both.
