Hi sharingan429,
As it is mentioned in your configuration details you are running Window 7. In Windows 7 to switch the machine from Projector to monitor mode, press and hold the Windows Key and then press the Letter P, select Computer Only or any other preferred mode.
One of the reasons why the computer goes to sleep mode could be the sleep time set in the settings. To change this follow the steps mentioned in the below mentioned link:

Check the section "How can I prevent my computer from automatically sleeping or hibernating?" in the above mentioned link.
