Hello,
I do not have recovery Disc for this L655D Laptop. The laptop will not boot up to the hard drive, I do have antoher computer, so can I download and make a recovery disc on the other computer using the DVD/CD Drive???

No you can't! Toshiba made it that way. You must use the recovery partition on the hard disk.
