Hp pavillio 6500 notebook

Hello, my laptop had a reformat so all things had been replace. when i started playing videos on windows media center it said that my video card or something must be installed.for all i know, not a single hardware was removed during the reformat..when i try playing freecell its kinda slow, and i cant even play warcraft..please help me out..

it's not about removing any hardware, but when we format & reinstall OS we have to install drivers of display card, sound card i.e. all motherboard drivers. Install them from motherboard CD problem should be solved.

sad to say i dont have any cds or something..i bought it from my friend..he kinda lost those important cds..
any alternatives?
