Hello,

have been trying to contact FB for almost two years about our old group page that was taken over by someone we do not know. To date I have not been able to resolve the matter. I was recently informed that the person who hacked our page has been soliciting for donations on our behalf.

If you look under events on the page you will see all the post I made letting our fans know our page was moving. The group is located at https://www.facebook.com/groups/ourforgottenwarriors. Each time I receive a reply from FB all they say is there is no issue. I do not think any one is reading my message about my account was hacked. Any assistance from anyone on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Carol

The problem is the FB page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/ourforgottenwarriors was hacked. I no longer have control over that group page and the person who hacked it basically told me to go to hell when I sent him a message.

The page above was our group page before we switched to an Org page. which is located at https://www.facebook.com/ourforgottenwarriors Each time I submit a inquery to FB they change my password to my real account and do not address the account I am referencing.

if you visit the first page link and look at events you will still see my post notifying our followers that our page was moving.

Thank You,

Carol

Hi

Okay, I see that they are two distinct independent pages with two distinct URL and it seems that only the name OFW was usurped; that's why Facebook believes that both pages are legitimate.

I'm bewildered !

I suggest that you report the group page as a fake account and ask for it to be closed:

Good luck

Below is the latest message from FB. If my account was hacked how am I supposed to have information about it. Almost two years going around in circles.

Hi,

You have reported that your account has been compromised. Unfortunately, because you were unable to identify the account in question, we will not be able to support your inquiry. Your report will be used to help us identify any bugs in our system, but we will not be able to reply to your email directly.

Please review the following information to help you find your account and reset your password. Be sure to try every option if you haven't already done so.

1. Ask one of your Facebook friends to view your profile and send you the email address listed on your account. To do this, ask your friend to click on the "Info" tab on your Profile page and scroll down to "Contact Information."

2. Try entering every email address that you have ever owned (one email address at a time). You may have added an email address to your account and forgotten it.

3. Try entering your current mobile number and all of your past mobile numbers (one number at a time).

4. Try entering your username. A username is your personalized Facebook URL (web address) and appears in the location bar of your browser after "https://www.facebook.com/" when you view your profile. If you don't know your username, you can have a Facebook friend view your profile and tell you what your username is.

5. Try a variety of names. For the "Your name" section, try entering variations for your name. You may have signed up for a nickname and forgotten about it. You should also try a variety of friends if the first friend you enter doesn't locate an account.

If you are still unable to identify your account and you have lost access to your login email address, we recommend that you contact your email address provider. Please see below for the links to initiate this process with some common email providers:

Gmail: https://accounts.google.com/ForgotPasswd
Hotmail: https://account.live.com/resetpassword.aspx
Yahoo: https://login.yahoo.com/account/challenge/session-expired?authMechanism=secondary&done=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.yahoo.com%2F

Once you have regained access, you can use the "Forgot your password?" link that appears below the Password field on the Facebook login page.

If you believe that your login email was changed, please check your email inbox for an email from Facebook with the subject "Facebook Contact Email Change Notification" for further instructions.

If your issue is not related to the "Identify your account" flow, please visit our Help Center to find more information about common concerns as well as the proper forms for reporting your issue.

Once again, please note that we will not be able to respond to this email. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause,
