How to install backup created from PC recovery

I have read the instruction for the re4store file and data after PC recovery from DJSMURF .But my problem is that these instructions are not compatible to my Acer Aspire One netbook running on Windows XP and has Toshiba systems installed. The first few instructions are correct but when I get to the advanced boot menu I need a different safe mode or computer repair or command prompt, and also when I get to the instructions for top tags about document and setting the top tag has to be different because this netbook is not a HP or Lenvo but is Acer Aspire One d255 which runs toshiba systems and windows Xp and I need a free method to get file and data I created after PC recovery on hidden partion and added instruction from DJ Smurf are only for the Hp and Lenvo computers.

Please HELP
