My PC is very slow.

please , with all my respect I BEG you to help me with my PC. I use service pack2 but it is too slow and I can not find updates to it. I AM away in an AFRICAN village. Please help me.

Hello,

Try this 1

If your are PC is slow then you can try the below given steps.

1) Use cleaning tool "CCleaner" to remove all the cookies, temporary files etc.

Click on the below hyperlink "CCleaner" to know more about it.

2) Make sure that you disk is free from errors. For more information, click on

the below hyperlink "Error Checking".

3) Perform "Defragmentation". For more information, click on the below hyperlink

4) Start --> Run --> Type msconfig and press Enter.

"System Configuration Utility will be opened.

Click on "Startup" tab. Disable unnecessary startup items.
