Somehow my desktop, icons, start button, & task bar have disappeared. How do I get them back. I tried cntl/alt/del, clicked on new task, entered explorer.exe.....didn't work! Now what do I do? By the way, I am computer friendly, not computer literate, so layman's terms please~ lol

Well, after much stubborness & perseverance, I managed to find 'safe mode' & was able to restore my laptop to an earlier date & all my troubles disappeared~
