Well, if it is the ISP router, you cannot, as its FIRMWARE is not writable.
Why do you not tell us what is the make and model so we can possible help. I will say, I have upgraded routers to enable NAT, so it can be done. as long as it isn't the ISP router.

Thank you for replying my query.
Basically, an interviewer asked me this question on telephonic interview without specifying the make and model. I hope that wouldn't be an ISP router. I couldn't answer and I did Google a lot but didn't find satisfactory answer.
