I tunes store

Hello, I am having trouble opening itunes store on itunes 8, everything else works properly but every time I try to opent the itunes store it tells me it - itunes could not connect to itunes store. the connection has timed out - I dont know what to do, I have tried all my settings for firewalls, and anti-viruses. If you are having the same problem or knwo what I can do please let me know!!!
