My dell computer won't show anything once I turn it on. It has power but nothing on screen. I read it might be a video card issue. Whats the best way to switch it or check if that is the problem? I have a dell w340ua

There is a Gateway computer with that model number but not a Dell.
It has a known problem with the video chip. Here is a link to a possible fix:

Ah yes I seen this..so.I.guess I need to take this to a computer repair shop. that's something I wanted to avoid.

Sorry - It's probably cheaper to buy a new computer or tablet.
