Hi everyone I have just bought a new battery for my laptop which is a C855-1QC toshiba laptop that carries a PA5024U BRS battery .While it recognizes the new battery when AC adapter is on when I remove the adapter the laptop shuts almost immediately.Do i have to send back the battery or should I change my power settings ? Thanks in advance

You might need to fully charge the battery before its first use.

If that doesn't work then I suggest you return it.
