Hello,
Im having a problem with my compaq presario, A buddy of mine gave it to me he didnt know what was wrong with it, but i have it now and when i boot it up its telling me its detecting IDE drivers, then it goes to a screen that tells me disk boot failure.



Any suggestions on how i can fix this computer?

It's telling you that your hard drive is dead. You need to replace it and reinstall Windows. Good Luck
