Hi
1. What is the laptop's make and model?
2. What is your operating system?
3. Have you recently added new software or hardware?
4. What is your antivirus?
5. What is the message on the blue screen?
6. Will it boot in safe mode with networking?

I Think, Windows would have fetched incomplete updates. Please login in Safemode and uninstall some of the recent updates captured on ur PC.
For Logging into the Win Box in Safe mode u can press F8 while the Machine gets restarted
u can also refer the below Link for Logging into the Windows Box in Safemode
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-7
Note: This is my personal Opinion. I do this for my PC when it faces Blue Dump Error
Thanks for reading!
