Than you for coming to my aid.
Windows 8.1 is my operating system. There's no error message whatsoever and nothing to indicate that I wrongly manipulated the office system. All other programmes operate very well except the Microsoft Office. I'll be highly grateful for any help you can offer toward solution of this problem.
