Date , time prob

Hello,my date and time have to be set every startup i replaced battery by a new one could jampers make it
because i try to change some not sure i butback in proper place

hi,
the date and time of your computer is maintained by the CMOS battery.
there may be a problem with either the battery or the motherboard.
try another battery and if the problem still persists, then we may colclude that the problem is found on the motherboard.
you can set the jumper back to the normal positions by referring to the user's manual of the motherboard.
