Hi there,
Does it shut down while not playing games, for example while watching HD movies? I would suggest you to clean your laptop, because it may be overheating. Try monitoring your components' temperature.
Hope this helps

Well, I would say that the hardware is fine, but you should clean the laptop. The fan is spinning up, because of the high temperature, but can not cool enough because of the dust and, as a precaution, your laptop shuts down to prevent some hardware damage. It happens only in games, because that is where the laptop uses a lot of resources, like processor, RAM, video, etc.
If cleaning the laptop does not solve the issue, you should contact a technician to verify where the issue comes from.
