Hello, how can you get local with windows 7 and windows XP.

You have to have same user accounts in both machines. The machines have to be on the same subnet. Being in the same workgroup really helps!

I hope this helps, as you have not stated any details as to what, when, or how the "local" (which I am assuming is the LAN).
