Need help with computer

Hello, okay here is the problem im having troubles with my laptop that has a good internet connection but i cannot surf the internet or update my virus scan. its funny because it works if i do a system restore back to the old setting but when i try to install firefox or internet explorer it would not work. could it be a virus or something else and it all starting to get messed up after uninstalling norton. could that be one of the possibility of the problems?

hi,
since you uninstalled Norton, your computer is at high risk of being infected by viruses.
you said when you do a system restore, the internet works.
so i will suggest that you do a system restore and then download an anti-virus, install it, uodate it and then run a virus scan.
this will remove all the threats on your computer.
