How to access Team Viewer from other place?

Hello,
So as I am working , as there are some work in pending, so I decided to use team viewer from home and connect it to company pc to work, both home and company pc have Team viewer 10, so I create password and note it and let my company computer lock (without shutdown) press windows+L key before I going to home.....
but when I try to access from home it shows team viewer is not running in partner computer....
I dont know the power shutdown in my company at the time of I accessing the team viewer....
My question is
1) To access from home I need to leave the pc as it is (switch on with logged in)
2) Whether I have to put team viewer in startup?
3) without internet connection in home or office team viewer does not work?
Thank you for reading..
Hope good replies from you guys...

it does not have to do with the lock screen download this manual
from here
Locks the remote computer. Now you can switch user accounts or sign in to the same session again.

I think this is a matter of lost connection, you can test it in the company before you leave with two computers and see if it works
as long as the program is running on both ends and the internet connection is OK it should work

Damn it !!!, is it ever gonna be the way I want it to be?

Hello

If you are at home, there has to be someone in the office to allow team viewer. It is called Teamviewer not Alone Viewer .

yeah!!!!!!
lol..um nobody has to be on the other end if you have their login info...
Hello,

Your company computer can be locked but has not to pass in Standby mode.
Verify the Auto Sleep setting and disable any power saving options on your PC under the Windows Control Panel.
