SD memory card is not readable

Hello,
I am trying to read a SD memory card in my PC using a card reader.
When I insert the card reader in to the PC the Removable disk icon is appearing but i can't open it. When I try to open the icon its showing insert the disk.

I am using windows 7 OS.

The same memory card is not detected in Samsung Galaxy phone and in Nokia phone.
