I have an AGP video card that is an ATI 1950 GT that randomly seemed to stop working one day. I can no longer get either DVI port on the graphics card to display a picture. When switching out my old graphics card (ATI x800) the DVI port on it works just fine. Does anyone know of any suggestions? I am lost as to if I can salvage my graphics card and get it working again. It is past its manufacturers warranty. Does anyone know if local computer repair places will take a look, or try to repair video cards? Thanks.

Save your money for a new i7 computer. It's not good economics to spend your money to fix/upgrade that old computer

About the only place that can repair a video card is the manufacturer. I would check if they accept out of warranty repairs. Good Luck
