Hello,
Walkman NWZ E474:
1)USB cable doesn't work nor does option to connect to laptop without USB (option available on walkman under settings)
2)There is no trace of walkman anywhere on laptop. It has disappeared from device and drivers. There is nothing in device manager, no portable devices even shown. Please advise.

Hi August,
Have you tried with another USB cable and on another PC. The device should appear in Device Manager, under the USB section. Open Disk Management and check if there is any trace of your walkman. If you can not find it even with another cable and on another PC, sadly, the device may have failed. If it is under warranty, I suggest you to contact the reseller.
Hope this helps
