How to access to yahoomail without asking to enter code.

My husband email account cannot access, need to enter code which will be send to his contact # and email but unfortunately his contact # is no longer available because he lost his sim card and his email was deactivated. how can he open his account without asking to enter the code or how can he change his contact number. Please answer me asap coz he need to open his email. Send reply to my email address. Thanks.
