Regedit.exe not working

Hello,

hey guys i cant open my regedit.exe and ive tried all the solution on the net tryed opening thrugh cmd tryed going through adminsitrive tools adn eneableing can any1 tell me how to solve this i dont get it i updated my windows to x64 then few months passed and i was gonna open it and i cant access it

Hi Weedster,

Try scanning for corrupt system files ...
from an elevated Command Prompt (right click cmd.exe and choose "Run as administrator") type the following - not forgetting the space before the forward slash ...

sfc /scannow

It will take some time to complete, but shouls find and fix any missing or corrupted system files.

Then try regedit again and let us know how you get on.
