Ethernet not working, wifi is fine

Hello,
Today this morning I was looking at my computer case, and looked at the fan and saw it was really dusty, I opened up the case and cleaned it out a bit using damp wipes. I was curious and touched a few things in there, after this my Ethernet stopped working, my desktop is Ethernet only. I checked the routers and everything and the cables. They were all fine. Wifi on my iPad is fine. but on my PC the
Ethernet was bad. I did multiple solutions but couldn't fix it. I believe the main problem is that I touched something and that killed my Ethernet.
