Browsers in Ubuntu work but not in Windows XP

Hello,

I'm lending my laptop to my girlfriend. My laptops wireless card worked perfectly through my d-link router through both Ubuntu and Windows XP. For my girlfriend, who I've just installed a new router being a Netcomm wireless, I cannot get the web pages to display when in Windows, although I am connected with a good signal, but I can get connected through Ubuntu! My girlfriend needs to use Outlook Express for her email (everything else boggles her mind) so it's imperative I get the internet working through Windows so she can do that. I have been trouble shooting for hours on numerous days but having come across a solution (which I'm sure must be simple!)

Can anyone please help?
