Hi Gurupad,
Could you confirm that the drive is visible in Disk Management? Does it have a drive letter and a file format? If it does not have a drive letter, try to assign one, clicking the drive with the right mouse button.
Have you used the drive on another computer, using another OS? Do you have valuable data on the drive?
