I am having some difficulty trying to apply conditional formatting to 1 cell with numerious rules - as i have found 1 rule will always work as new rules i create are in conflict which. I am basically trying to highlight project numbers to a key i have created i.e Reserved projects would be in yellow and Exchanged projects in Green so on so fourth.

So the issue im having would be in cell B2 from (Jun-14) i want to say for our London projects (A2) we have.. project 12(YELLOW), 14(RED) -- so what i want is to input data into the same cell but for them to be colour coordinated so it is easy to identify where we are with our current projects for sales meeting etc.

Can someone please help me!

AHUNDAL, Good morning.

For me, it's dificult to understand your question.

Maybe you can save an example of your file at a free site, www.speedyshare.com and put a link to download here.

Remember to show the data you have and the result you want.
A real example helps a lot this understanding for all.
